Group history
Over three decadesof enterprise.
From retail and manufacturing to finance, international projects and real estate. Experience gathered across industries and countries shaped, over time, what MEGAPARC is today.

1991–1994
Retail, manufacturing, a port.
The first years of the market economy. The founders start with what was missing: shops with their own supply, manufacturing and logistics.

The supermarket on Negruzzi Boulevard
The founders' first project. Supply had to be built from scratch — in an economy only just moving from state trade to a market.

The Modelier garment factory
In-house garment production, built on modern equipment and economical cutting of material.

Romitech — a hub in the port of Brăila
The group's first project outside Moldova: transhipment of general cargo, linking Danube routes with road and rail.

BRP — winemaking equipment
Importing equipment and materials for filtering, fermenting and processing wine — and a channel that took Moldovan wine to foreign markets.

The Mi-Gross supermarket chain
A discount format: fast stock rotation and low operating costs, for affordable prices.

The Arcona leather-goods factory
Leather goods and accessories — from processing the raw hide to the finished product.
1995
The group's investment structure.
In 1995 the founders' businesses come together in an investment structure that coordinates them and raises capital. The same year the first real estate enters the portfolio.

The group's investment structure is formed
A centre that coordinates every line of business and raises strategic capital. The group's history is counted from this year.

Y.M. Capitol — the first real-estate line
Plots at the city's key junctions, office and retail space.

The Green Hills Market chain
Large-format supermarkets and technologies just reaching the market: barcodes, centralised cold storage, loyalty programmes.

Farmatrade — pharmaceutical distribution
Importing medicines and medical equipment, licensed warehouses.
1996–1997
Leasing, grain, sugar.
The group moves into financial services and agribusiness: equipment leasing for companies, the full grain cycle in Moldova and sugar production in Ukraine.

IMC Leasing — financial leasing
Leasing for vehicles and industrial equipment — in years when bank credit for business was hard to get.

Soiuz Agros‑Intex — an integrated farm system
Everything a farmer needs in one system: seed and fertiliser, harvest collection, grain-export logistics.

Inseko — sugar, full cycle
Growing sugar beet, industrial processing and selling the sugar.
MEGAPARC is founded.
Real estate becomes a business line of its own. The company starts working with commercial property: buying, renovating, developing and leasing it.
Buy the building nobody wants.Make it a place people want to come to.

The company buys run-down commercial buildings and turns them into modern spaces ready to lease — what is now called brownfield development.

IMC Market — retail returns
A new chain of neighbourhood stores, built on the experience of the earlier chains.
2006–2016
New lines of business.
Legal practice, restaurants, start-up investment — the group grows in Moldova and, in parallel, moves into foreign markets.

IMC Legal Advisors
Legal support for complex transactions and risk control — for the group's own portfolio and for outside partners.

Flying Pig
A Bavarian-style brewery and a BBQ restaurant.

Estate Industry Group
Support for start-ups: not only capital but experience — in real estate and logistics.
1991–2020
Beyond Moldova.
The port of Brăila, sugar in Ukraine, oil exploration in Iraq, industry and logistics in West Africa, supply from China — the group worked wherever there was demand and partners.

Valahia — an energy project
Oil exploration and geological prospecting.

Industrial projects in West Africa
Industrial construction and crude refining — building on trade relationships with Middle Eastern partners.

Distribution Center Senegal
A general-cargo logistics hub in Dakar: a trade corridor between Turkey, our region and West Africa.
2017–2020
Fewer lines, more focus.
The group hands over its mature businesses and sells non-core assets. The last trading and logistics projects link China, Romania and Eastern Europe.

Handing over the businesses
Restructuring the assets, handing over operational management, selling non-core lines — capital is freed for something new.

Supply from China
Negotiations and contracts with manufacturers in China; goods flows to Eastern European markets.

Transit logistics in Romania
Transit warehouses where goods from Asia meet regional distribution.
Real estate becomes the core business.
Many industries behind us.One remains — real estate.
In 2020 the group leaves international logistics and retail. Real estate remains — with MEGAPARC at its centre.
An exit from international logistics and retail. The group's resources are concentrated on real estate.
MEGAPARC today.
MEGAPARC acquires real estate and land, develops its own projects and leases commercial space in its buildings. The operating properties are in Chișinău; the development projects are VATRA and Drochia Gateway.
